No Boot disk found - usually indicates the HDD is not located.
so you need to validate the HDD is inserted properly, and locked into the HDD slot. securely,
Blue Screen asking for password, could mean several things,
basically you need with both errors, take to a good Repair Tech and have this looked into... PASSWORD can be either for BIOs or HDD,
or the system went into LOCKED MODE and password is needed to UNLOCK it.
After hours of research I found this, and I tried first www.servicebios.com with no luck, and they did not refund my money. gave it another shot with www.biosunlock.com and they gave me the right password. VERY HAPPY NOW.
If you are getting a Grey and white screen asking for a BIOS or HDD master password, you'll need to contact Dell Tech support for a Master Password (USA 800-624-9896) confirm you are a authorized user and then you can get a master password. If out of warranty, a fee may be charged. If a HDD password and you are getting a prompt of ***********-595B then the HDD is bad and will need to be replaced
if you download the sata drivers from the toshiba website for your specific laptop and then extract them and get nlite ( www.nliteos.com and slipstream the drivers into the xp disc you can then re install xp and it should allow you to boot.
As for the hard drive frozen password that should be in the bios on the hard drive that you set it for so it should remember it
if not you may have to contact toshiba and they should have a back door password that they can produce once you give them the asset tag ( serial number of the laptop ) and once you enter that it should resolve the hard drive frozen issue.
Had a hard drive frozen at a school once and had to call dell ( as it was a dell laptop obviously ) and gave them the serial number and they created a back door password for me - jobs a good one :D
HDD Master passwords generally disable access to the HDD altogether. I used to be a Toshia technician and if you wanted to get rid of the HDD master Password, you needed to get a new HDD. It is recommended that you take the laptop to your local service repairer for that brand, and they may be able to use a workaround or use a backdoor password, but I wouldn't hold out that hope.
The other option is to get your sister to reset the HDD master password.
PLEASE REPLACE UR MOTHER BOARD BATTERY. I GUESS UR BATTERY MODEL WILL BE CR3212... PLEASE CHAGE IT AND TRY IT AGAIN. NOT YOUR LAPTOPS BATTERY... THIS IS A BATTERY ON THE MOTHER BOARD. PLEASE TAKE IT TO UR NEAREST DEALER AND GET IT DONE.. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN IT WITH ANY KNOWLEDGE.
