Where can I find a recovery disk set for compaq presario sr2013wm. compaq no longer offers the recovery disk.

if F10 doesn't work and you don't have a recovery disk then you will have to try and find a recovery disk from somewhere or re-install windows. If you don't have a windows disk and you can't get hold of one there is nothing you can do apart from taking it to be done somewhere.

Why ? go to windows recoverypartition.push F8,F10 OR DEL. there is tools for recovery.

try opening up your side of your pc boot it up and listen to the harddrive for noise with it ticking in a screen like you say it usually means your harddrive is failing or the boot is corrupt on it

Use a disk from a friend then use your COA on the side of your computer to validate the install, or call Microsoft or your system maker to request support

Check to make sure you used a SATA hdd & not a SATA II hdd for your replacement. Usually these are not backwards compatible. Hope this helps.
