How do I get photos out of the internal memory onto a card?

the camera has internal memory and also will have the option for external memory. If you have a sd memory card in the camera you can backup the internal memory to the sd card.
Then you can remove the sd card and put in a new sd card and you now have an sd card with your precious photo memory's copied from the camera internal memory. You may have a camera that allows two sd cards one for the photos and one to back up the photos. If you had your camera stolen or lost you would lose all the photos on the camera but with a backup sd card you still have the photo files. Also a p.c with a card reader device could read the files on the sd card and you could copy them into a cloud storage on the net or onto a network storage device or onto a usb portable drive with 2 terrabyte capacity .

Two alternatives: Remove the memory card before connecting the camera to your computer, or use the Copy command to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the memory card and then download from the memory card.

Disconnect the camera, turn it off, remove the memory card, and then reconnect. Having the memory card inserted "hides" the internal memory.

In the camera menu system, you will find an entry for "copy" which gives you the choice of copying the internal memory to a memory card.

You need to go to the menu and "copy" them to the SD card.

You'll need to install the software that came with the camera onto your computer then connect the camera with the USB cable that came with it to your computer. The software will start when it senses your camera is connected and you'll be able to access the camera internal memory. Otherwise, you can copy the internal memory contents to the memory card from the camera itself from the menu system.

Put the memory stick inside the camera. Then open the photos which is save in your camera memory. Select them all & then you find a option Send to memory card or copy to memory card. Select that and press ok. Your photos transfer from camera memory to memory stick.

Tough the picture frame states 1000 photos, it really depends on the size of the picture. To resolve this purchase a 2 or 4 gb memory card and download your pictures onto the card. You can insert the card in the slot of the picture frame and then connect to your computer and download your pics from your computer directly onto the memory card.
