How to fix glass sliding
We have a Samsung plasma and noticed the glass sliding down as well. We popped the plastic frame off and put the glass back in place and then put new double sided sticky tape down across where the old tape was. We popped the frame back on and the glass hasnt moved at all. I did call Samsung and our warranty ended last month, so I am waiting for them to call me on setting up a tech to come out. However I do feel that we shouldnt have to pay for this since they did not secure the glass besides some sticky tape and a plastic frame! I will post what Samsung says after I receive the call from the technician on how to fix this problem. But this has fixed the problem for now.
Our Samsung plasma keeps cutting out when watching
Best option is to switch from the HDMI to component input. This is an HDMI compatibility problem between your TV and cable box. You will still be HD but you won't have the blinking out issue. I hope this was of some assistance, best wishes.

Try several inputs. See if you have the sam result. If you are watching with an antenna make sure all is connected and setup is set up.
Try set up for the TV with its' remote. If it works on the blank screen that means an input problem.

Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. It
seems that you like Plasma TVs a lot however, a plasma TV is a very
hard working device. It is working harder than any TV that has been built
before, and as a result it produces a lot of heat. 75% of technical problems in
plasma TV's are caused by overheating problems. A lot of people operate under the
assumption that plasma and LCD is the same thing. They are actually two competing
technologies that achieve similar results (crystal-clear, color-filled
pictures) and come in similar packages (super-thin cases). LCDs require much
less power to operate than a plasma display, since an LCD uses fluorescent
backlighting. LCD Televisions require approximately half the power that plasma
displays require. Plasmas are power-hungry devices, requiring a significant
amount of electricity to light every individual pixel - even the dark ones. Both
plasma and LCD TVs are a great deal lighter than a traditional CRT TV. Still, plasma
will be about 20% heavier than an LCD TV of the same screen size, although both
types will be of comparable thickness (less than 4 inches). So with all that
being said I would recommend you to buy a LCD rather then Plasma as the life
span matters. Please check this link for what FixYa recommends. Please do accept the solution if
the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
Thanks

Try do a reset by going in menu, and restore it to factory setting if still persist.
Do a hard reset by unplugging the power cord, as you have been doing,
but a complete reset requires the power to be unplugged for at least 4
hours. Then when you turn it on all the internal soft codes will boot
up to factory default settings.
DOES PLASMA TV HAS 120HZ AUTO MOTION PLUS
This particular model has a 60Hz refresh rate. At this point there are no broadcasts or video sources outside of special labs that can generate enough data to produce a refresh rate of 120Hz. Expect this to become available in a year or so. Please realize that the human eye can not see changes faster than about 30 frames per second. The current standard refresh rate of 60Hz is twice that. The only change you could see (unlikely) would be a slightly smoother flow for fast moving scenes. Typical movement on the screen will not likely see a difference.

Samsung plasma TV PN63A650 will not turn on, just makes continuous clicking.
the capacitors seem to have gone bad if they have like a black dot on them it is a sign they have actually blown they can be replaced by placing new ones on but it would be better if the board was replaced (unless you wish to replace those capacitors please please do be careful in doing so they hold enough charge to give you a bad zap even kill if one isnt careful)

Samsung 60 inch plasma not turning on. Unplug HDMI and turns on. Let it warm up (15min) then one HDI (720) works. Replaced caps but no change.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. ..

Have you checked the sustain board/s. If you wish to get some details about how to check a plasma TV, visit the site linked here. It has details with illustrations. The shown is for an LG brand plasma, but all the plasma TVs will have same configuration and checking procedure, irrespective of its brand and screen size.
