It depends on which valve your replacing. If its a burner valve, you have to remove the control panel to gain access to the burner valves. If its the oven valve, most ranges they are located in the back behind a panel so you have to pull the range out. That can be tough with a large oven. Question, why replacing the valve? Valves don't normally go out very often so double check before replacing. good luck

sounds like the lock motor has failed. Lots of clicking noises and not being able to lock/unlock is normally a good indicator. In some rare circumstances, main control board could be faulty. Look for me on 6ya if you need any more detailed help.

Hello. That type of error usually means that there is a shorted button on the control. I don't know the model number so I can't look up the part. The button control panel is usually known as the "user interface" in repair lingo. Be prepared, the user interface panel is normally more expensive than the main control board. If the unit has "soft touch" buttons one of them probably is shorted out(giving the computer the impression that you haven't removed your finger and it's still being pressed). If it's one of the fancy capacitive touch panels(you just touch the glass to select), the circuit board has a defective chip and must be replaced.

I took the motor out of the range hood. There is a set screw holding the squirrel cage fan in place which I unscrewed enough to slide the fan part off.
