Viking 6 burner range that keeps clicking after ignition
Spark ignition sparks until the flame starts. The flame ionizes the air between the igniter plug and the burner causing the small current to flow between the igniter and the burner. This shuts off sparking. But if there is a gap such as in the spark igniter under the porcelain, technically there still is a gap that the current has to jump and thus the stove keeps sparking. In my case changing the offending igniter plug fixed the problem.

Griddle will not ignite and can not light with a
DO NOT EVER TRY TO LIGHT ANY GAS APPLIANCE WITH A MATCH, THAT LIGHTS ITSELF!!! DANGEROUS!! There is a pilot safety, or ignition control board/modual, that prevents the appliance from igniting if there is no pilot. Call a service company with the model number AND seerial number of the unit, and describe the problem. They will be able to help you

Cleaned my Viking Gas (propane)
Hello, welcome to FixYa.
Based on your post I suspect the burners are being restricted or partially restricted. When cleaning these units often when the water or soap used covers the small holes in the burners completely over and dries, thus preventing proper ignition and uneven flames. I see this often in homes that have hired cleaners come in and suddenly the range does not work when the cleaners have gone. Likely the best way to resolve this is physically clearing each hole with a toothpick or small sewing needle...tedious, but effective. The other thing that can be effected is the ignitors themselves are wet, but once you fire up all the burners, let them burn for 20 minutes or so and everything should dry out.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)
