Is it possible to connect PC wirelessly? If so, how? I can connect via wires but prefer wireless.

Hey william,Ok. A portible computer can connect wirelessly as long as you have a router from a supporting cable provider. what this means is lets say you have cable from...xfinity. They will set you up with a router like any other company. This router pravides a wireless adaption to your computer that can last about 3 floors up and 3 miles away. Click the bars on your task bar and click "scan for available connections" and choose your connection. sadly you can only go wired but after that get a yellow support wire and plug in to the computer and hock it up to the TV and put the computer`s sleep mode off. this sleep mode will basicly turn off all programs and go to sleep cutting off the internet on your TV. IF YOU WISH TO PUT YOUR TV WIRELESSLY THEN GO TO OPTIONS AND PRESS INTERNET AND CONNECT AND THERE YOU GO!

I have a Panasonic TH50PZ77U

Its probably the main filter capacitor thats gone on the power supply, (sorry for mentioning power supply again but it is actually a power supply problem) If you are good at soldering then you can replace yourself, Google Panasonic capacitors and there are a few company that sell repair kits including the capacitors for about £30. Youll need to be good with a soldering iron to replace and make sure you either discharge the capacitors before you touch them or leave the tv plugged out for at least a day because they hold a charge and can really hurt you if they are still charged when you go at them. Best of luck.

Icame accross a screen with all kinds of tv

I have experienced this problem a few times with your TV. First check and make sure that the speaker toggle option is set to "on". I have seen this 3 times and ended up replacing the television main board, which restored the audio.

Panasonic 50PZ80U vertical lines

if these lines are solid black then your panel is probably bad. being six months old it is still under manufacturer warranty. they should be able to fix it for you for free. if they are not able to assist you then there is a way that you can check to see if the panel is bad. mark on the tv with a sticker or peice of tape where the lines are. then take the back of the tv off. find out where the lines are and it should line up with a ribbon cable. unscrew the ribbon cable and take it loose. it will be attached to the panel so dont pull to hard. there will be what looks like a little dark strip on the ribbon cable. these little strips have micro chips in them. look closely at the ribbon cable and if you see and arc spot or a burn spot then the panel is bad. look at one that is good for comparison. if this is bad and you are not able to get it warrantied then the tv is not worth fixing. the panels for these things cost about as much as a brand new tv would. hope this was helpful.

Random Side Panel Inputs

You either have a bad Main board or simply a bad touch control button in other word one of your side buttons is defective and it is blocking any other signal to the main board, but usually its a bad main board. In some cases ther is a FIRMWARE update from Panasonic, you may want to call Panasonic or check there website for any type of FIRMWArE UPDATE.
