I just purchased a new TV Stand with that you can mount the TV to. On this model is there anything specail I need to do to mount the TV to the stand. There are no instructions in the TV's manual on how to mount just in the manual for the TV Stand. I want to make sure that I can mount this TV to a stand before putting the stand together. Thanks
One make sure if you use other bolts supplyed that you make sure they do not go deeper than the original table stand bolts. make sure you get the screws you put in the wall in a stud or solid so it cant pull out and fall. other than that just follow the mfg instructions on the mount package.
THE STAND SHOULD BE ADJUSTABLE TO MOVE LEFT TO RIGHT AS WEL AS UP AND DOWN. ON THE BACK OF THE PANASONIC THERE ARE 4 OR 6 SCREW HOLES ABOUT 8- 10 INCHES FROM THE CENTER. IT USES 1/4 INCH SCREWS TREAD DIAMETER TO ATTACH THE PLASMA UNIT TO THE STAND.

There are two types of stands, some are wall type which needs to be mounted using rawl bolts, nuts are suppose to hold a stand, some are ground stands which are suppose to be put on a flat surface in order to balance.

Put tv on bed face down and look at the stand and locate and remove any and all screws holding stand to the flat screen set. Then after mounting the wall plate per instructions mount the tv to wall mounting.
with a brand like this you may have a hard time finding anything, You might look on MCM electronics if in North America as they sell about 50 different bases and mounting brackets that are universal ones.
You maybe lucky, but make sure the mounting holes on the stand matches your TV. Alternately you can use a wall mounting and these have mounting holes that suit most TVs.
If you are looking for a wall mounted TV stand these are available on the Internet. There are several types of brackets avaible, use Google to search for wall mounting TV brackets.
You can get to find alternative mounting by visiting any hardware store. Please find some tips from the link below with which it can be mounted to be fixed on the table or rack.
Hi,
1. Disconnect all cables. 2. Cover a level and stable surface with a thick and soft cloth. 3. Gently lay the TV, face down, onto the cloth. Make sure the Table-Top stand is hanging over the edge. 4. Rotate the cable holder 90 degrees, and pull it out completely. 5. Remove the screws (3 or 4 in rear next to cable holder, depending on which model wall-mount kit you have) being sure to hold the Table-Top-Stand firmly while removing the last screw. 6. Do not remove any other screws from the TV.
They also say not to remove the stand for any reason other than wall-mounting the TV. Their should be instructions with the wall-mount kit. Hope this helps! Thanks
Smith.
