I Think you have to find the Code on the manuel of the tv or The Backside of the TV.....or you can find it on the menu? I guess.....

There are a few things that can cause this. This may be an issue with the TV itself or with how your DISH Network is set up. Are you able to change channels at all; with the remote or the panel buttons? There are many things that we would need to go over. But you will want to make sure that your DISH is connected tightly to the TV. Please email me so that we can get this resolved!!!!

If the code to program the TV to your cable remote is not in the book provided, you can sometimes look online with the type of remote you're using to find the codes you're looking for. If you cannot find the code that way, sometimes customer service may have either up-to-date code information, including codes that were not provided when your remote book was printed, or even information on how to have your remote control search for a code to use. If that doesn't work, the model of TV that you have may not have codes for that specific remote. If that's the case, your cable provider should be more than willing to give you a newer remote that would work with your TV, provided that they have a newer one to give you.

I would suspect that your powersupply isn't giving the correct voltage to the mainboard (aka, tuner board) Once you open the tv, look for popped capacitors that are needing replaced. If you find any you will need to replace with the same uF value but a higher V value. This will correct the issue for the mainboard's voltage needs and you will notice that it will solve your problem.

If the power supply has been blown for awhile a mainboard replacement may also be needed, but I would try to fix the powersupply first to see if that corrects your problem!

Now tv turn on,it have pictures flashes few sec.and than dies have sound left only?Yes,the tv have it 1 or 2 long boards that call the LCD inverter boards are dead.These 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards help the LCD screen panel to have a backlight to prduced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those refurbihes 1 or 2 LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

The main set up is that you need to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this TV in PC mode otherwise the pictures will look real bad and not clear. No driver needed.
To use the TV as a monitor will not be as good as the PC monitor due to limited resolution the TV can display.

i think ur component video connection may inter changed. check it. are u connected red to red, green to green an blue to blue. if interchanged the picture will be black and white. also check the video system of ur tv and dvd.
about audio. for that u need a stereo rca chord. connect the audio output of ur dvd to the component audio input of ur tv. if u have already connected the audio cable , check the audio setup of ur dvd. there is selection for pcm audio select it and then check again.

i have a 42 inch dynex tv and i have a LUMINOUS JUMBO REMOTE on the top of the remote it says 8 FUNCTION REMOTE and i cant find a code that works for the tv can someone help me plezz

Mine did the same thing. Unplug the basterd and wait about 30 minutes. Unplug all auxilleries connected to it too. Then plug it in again. The red light should come on. The problem is that the liquid crystal power supply got switched off during the outage. If that doesnt work then you have to check the motherboard section 5V. If it is off you should see a number 1. If its on you should see a number 0. Thats what the schematic drawing shows. I found this in the online manual for troubleshooting dynex flat tvs. Fortunately I didnt have to touch the motherboard. I'm not telling you to go inside the tv and get yourself killed. Think safety at all times if you must go inside. Find the manual too. I dont remember where I found it, but you should be able to find one.

You do not need to connect two video cables, connect just one. Also if the computer and TV have both ports, bette using an HDMI to HDMI cable, rather that HDMI to VGA. You will need to connect sound cable along with video cable from computer.

On the TV ensure that you have selected the source. The TV does not automatically pick the source from VGA or computer HDMI. Use the source/input select button to locate the source.


On the computer ensure that you have enabled the external output. On laptops you often need to use a function key. On all Windows computer you have a control of connected monitors in Display Settings (personalize in Vista and 7).
