if the screen went black, it means your lcd lights wnet bad, there is no light power button on those, they automaticaly work....

i have the same problem...

Hello Tim-----your radio has menu options that can be changed- one of these turns on your aux port. to access this GO TO www.kenwoodusa.com on the top of the page click on support then on the left side of the page click on user manuals now on the right side of the page type in k and then scroll down until you get to your model (kdc135) -----on pages 12-13 you will see the instructions to turn on the auxilary mode. In standby you have to hold menu doen untill menu appears on screen, Scroll to aux and turn it on :)

Every 1 of those i have gotten in service here the amp chip #KKZ10 REF# ic5

There is a small hole at the bottom of the stereo face that will reset the system. I pushed a pen tip into the hole and it turned the stereo off. When I removed the pen, the system turned on and the CD ejected. Problem solved.

The Amp chip has died, time for service

In standby hold the menu button down untill menu pops up, the use the up down left right and pushing of the joystick to select clock ans set it :)

sounds like a ground issue, or a problem with the deck, id take it back to where u had it installed

what are you trying to plug into USB? if an iped it required Kenwood IP200 Adapter
