Sounds like the constant and accessory wires (red and yellow) are wired the wrong way. Test the wire that is connected to the yellow wire with a test light, and if the light doesn't light up with the car turned off you have the wires mixed up.
Kenwood kdc516s, cd audio does not work
If your car has a factory amplifier, you probably tied the kenwood's antenna turn on lead (blue) with the factory amp turn on wire. That bue wire only supplies voltage when your source is tuner. you need to use the kenwood' amp turn on (blue/white) to get the factory amp to turn on with the cd player and the tuner

Code OCER AND WILL NOT PLAY
Hi, This also happened to me, and what I did was, I reset the radio and wala it worked fine. Hope this works for you.
Radio stations
you have the constant and the turn on wires back wards, just switch the yellow and the red wires. if that does not work, then you may not have the red and yellow connected to the right wires,
with the ignition off, take the yellow and put it to what you think it goes too, and the red to the one you think it goes to. If you do not hear the cd player make a click and running sound, it is not wired correctly, check other wires ont he car to make sure you have the right one.
Pl dump
