20 Most Recent Panasonic KX-TG5100 Cordless Phone Questions & Answers

I'm sorry but what kind of answer is that? I came on here to find out where the volume control was. If people know where it was they would know to adjust it and would not be asking.

My Panasonic KX-TG5100 Cordless Phone has System errr #3Blinks some LEDS and no response to any key.Please send me clue to fix it.Shah

To change the ringer volume, press the conf/ function button.
Scroll to ringer setting using the up and down arrow keys.
Press the right arrow key to enter.
Press the right arrow key again at ringer volume.
Press the up and down arrow keys to adjust the ringing volume
Press the save soft key to save entry.

To set the time, press the function/edit key, scroll to date and time by using the up and down arrow keysand press the foward arrow when you locate time and date.Enter in 2 digit values for the month day and year.enter in a 4 digit value for the time then select AM/PM by pressing the *key. press the down arrow to save and the stop key to exit.

Could be loose connection where the two wires connect to the circuit board. The mic looks like a small silver canister with two wires leading from it. Resolder if you are handy with electronics. Oherwise replace with a like mic from Radio Shack. Take the old one with you.

“Record greeting after the beep” is
heard.
2 After the long beep, talk clearly,
about 20 cm (8 inches) away from
the MIC (microphone).
• The elapsed recording time is
displayed.
• If you record for over 2 minutes, the
unit will stop recording.
3 When finished, press
[GREETING] or [STOP].
• The unit will play back the recorded
greeting.
• To change the greeting, start again
from step 1.

It sounds like the phone system base station is burned out.

Press the mute button to turn mute off.

I don't think that is possible on that model of phone. This is a phone with only the basic features and a fixed ringtone.
