Many problems are due to poor connections. Don't just check your connections, unplug the cable, clean the ends and the contacts on the components if necessary with "isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol" and if possible "reverse" the ends. Put what was at one end into the other component. Make sure that the "colours match". Red-red, Green-Green, etc. Make sure the cables are inserted all the way. Often, if the connectors are very tight, people don't insert all the way. Check every connection - don't forget the ones coming from the wall.

The convergence ICs need to be replaced both of them at the same time they are STK392-040 you can get replacment ICs at the following link and they provide free instalation instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself.

You can try unplugging it for 4 hours. Like I have said you have 2 options replacing the parts that are possibly bad. Which is common on these tv's. It will run 550-1000$. Your more economically viable solution is to replace the tv.

Never even remove the back panel, if you are not trained. It could be fatal for both you and the TV

Its a convergence problem for sure ,,,if you cant move the red or blue (green is stationary) then your problem lies on the convervence module.. requiring ....mostly new output ICs like STKs your going to need a tech, for convergence is a common problem with rear projectors and requires patience and a expert to get it back just right. good luck

Most likely, this is a problem with the convergence board. The convergence amps (STK392-040 x 2)are internally shorted. These can be replaced or the whole convergence board can be replaced. It's cheaper to replace the amps, but more convienent to replace the board (especially for the less electronically inclined!! :) Hope this helps ...

this is a common problem for all projection TVs the convergence ICs need to be replaced. Its an easy fix if you can solder. Let me know if you need further information or a link to where you can order replacements.

Make sure you get the CG Board Part number:
BP94-00155A
There are other boards in this set that say convergence, but, they are not the boards you want.

You may need the change the coolant in the blue tube. Convergence is when the picture will look 3D Let me know if you need more information.

Should be STK392-040............I use Panasonic brand replacements for durability.....part # C5AA00000107.....
Don't use generic IC's....they will not hold up................T.

Someone has locked out access to functions. Possible "parental key". Check menu settings for this. If user used a password, you will need it

Set could just be way out of adjustment or there is problem with video circuit
