that is purely normal to have cleaning material in the fresh water tank as the vac picks up the dirt from the floor it should really go into the dirty pickup tank purely normal nothing to worry about

Belt might be slipping. Probably need a new belt.

It doesn't have a belt. The brushes are turned by the turbine assembly.

If you go to ebay and type or paste 293152424685 into your search browser the listing for the belts to fit your model should come up.

It's possible that there might be something stuck in it or a part of it can be broken...

You have a clog somewhere.

Please check that belt twist again, it sounds like it is spinning backward.

Most likely the bearings in the brush roller. Either replace the Bearings or get a new brush roller.

What you are smelling is the drive belt. If the roller isn't spinning the belt will slip - your high rev sound. This can be caused by the roller being miss aligned in the square slot or hair or string has gotten wrapped in the bearings. Make sure that power is removed. Remove the roller and with a flat blade screwdriver work the end caps off of the roller and remove any string/hair. While it is out, inspect the belt or wear and signs of slipping (a polished look). A worn belt will be curved in the middle where a new one is flat. Taking note of the belt side of the roller and reinsert the roller into it's slots. Make sure it is fully seated. It should spin with a little resistance but without any gritty feeling from the bearings.

It seems it must be blowing out from somewhere. Try to figure out where by feeling for air blowing to try to determine where it's coming from and why.

Be sure the tanks and hoses are fitted snug and secure. If the seal is broken it won’t suck up anything.
