Lens Cap message appears due to failure of ccd imager chip in camcorder and ccd imager chip need to be replaced to solve this issue.
Local camera repair shop will replace ccd imager chip because camera will take apart and soldering work is required.

the connection between the lcd and the main board is defective, the video connector is broken, try to use tv connection to check if you get a picture displayed on your tv screen so you need to repair your lcd. if you don't see any picture it's main board problem service is required. thanks.

I had that problem happen for a customer recently. I found that they had some critical updates downloaded and installed for their operating system (Vista upgrade, on top of xp) I unistalled and reinstalled their software Nero and Pinnacle and everything worked fine. If this happens too be your problem you could restore from a previous date to roll back your update and check that first. I hope this helps.

I have the same problem with the camera from Day 1. It was back to the manufacturer at least 3 times when is was within the first year. They were clueless and claimed they could not recreate the problem. I have found it occurs primarily just after fully charging the camera. It seems to work again after sitting a day or so as some of the charge burns off.

If you mean normal eject operation, meaning your camera has no problem at all? Just take a look the eject knob located at the bottom of your camera. Note; Doing this, you must connect power on it. Good Luck

Have check your nearest JVC Service Center. It needs CCD repalcement, parts are not commonly available. Hope it helps

I have a JVC camcorder and have had it fixed 3 times for the same problem, I would suggest setting it up for service. I am glad I bought the extra warranty with mine.

If you have usb. Then you want usb to rca jacks
If you have rca jacks, then you want rca to rca jacks
If you have HD connection, then you want hdmi to hdmi cable

CCD (imaging IC ) went bad and require replacement.

This sounds like the CCD unit, or the connection between the lens unit and main board.
