Dear Sir/Madam, We are actually looking for some

Some of the tapes that we get can be problematic so, if you want to record professionally like the TV studios do. Here is what you must do so that you do not lose the information on your tapes. Some of the bad news is that you can not recover anything from your DV tapes if nothing was recorded on them. However the way forward from now on is to record black on your tapes before shooting on them. Here is what you do. Buy a new tape or if you want to use a used tape you do the same. You insert your tape in the camcorder, with your lens cap on that means you do not take your lens cap off and then start recording. What you will be doing is laying black on your tape so that it becomes ready for recording. It means that your tape will now be recorded with black. you can then rewind and start recording with your cap off the true recording. The tapes will not then be problematic. Please let me know if this has solved your problem.

Fungus inside! pd170

This will require major disassembly to repair. The camera will need to be disassembled to remove the lens assembly and then the lens assembly will need to be disassembled to remove the fungus. This can actually be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be done by a qualified service technician.

While recording video i get error message cleaning

Try using a head cleaning tape recommended by Sony.
If after two or three passes it does not improve, you should take the camera to a Service Centre for a clean and adjust.

I have problem with my pd 170 when i push

There are three buttons for recording. Please try the other two buttons ( one is on the top, other is under the handle) if the recording starts with any of the buttons, then your main button will be faulty. You have to get it replaced.

Hope it helps. Don't forget to rate me.

I have a PD170 camera.

The most likely thing I would suspect, is that possibly the cmos type battery inside the camera on the circuit board died- it's the small battery on the circuit board for the firmware that holds the time and settings when the camera's main batteries are not inserted. That's what I suspect with the resetting problem.
I think you have a different problem going on with the tape. The icon is indicating that the camera isn't detecting the tape correctly, and that's usually caused by a sensor or switch, that gets activated when the tape loads around the head. Chances are the tape deck needs cleaning, and that might solve the problem. I don't recommend people servicing these, since they're hard to clean and regrease correctly without taking them partially apart.
You're going to, however, have to take it apart to chance the cmos/firmware battery, so you might be able to access the tape mech. If you google "cleaning tape decks on camcorders" you will some sites that explain how. Although each tape deck might have some physical differences, they're like cars, and the main components are similar in structure and fuction.
If you elect to have it repair, Panasonic will repair it, or you can try a local camera shop. Get an estimate first, just to keep them honest (and you forwarned about the cost).
Good luck, and hope this helps.

My sony Pd 170s LCD

The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the camera body and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to usually be repaired by a qualified service technician.
