Mecha errors usually refer to a mechanical problem. I would inspect the whole thing for any obstructions, jams, etc. Hello lawsoncl thank you for answering me, I inspected the printer, both on the right and left, there is no obstruction, I opened the upper door and even no obstruction, as I recommend to proceed.

(this is all i can find out about your fault)........the problem is the DC motor at the left side of display. It not does work connecting it to a DC power..........
Mecha error 03 mechaerror03 cant pass that stage you need to replace the pinch motor assembly part number:3F4820RH..
checking the gear by taking off both side panels and the panel directly in front of the cutter helped me - in my case I received the error "mecha trouble cutter pos"
problem was, the cable that runs the cutter had fallen off of the pulleys and after a bit of fussing, I was able to get the cable back in place and a working printer.
Mecha error 03 is a malfunction of the main pinch motor. Ninety-Five percent of the time the problem is that the motor has failed. The machine will more than likely have to be sent in for maintenance.
oooohhhh k
1) when you turn the printer on does the printer make a lot a noise and then display "ready"
-If not there may be mechanical issues with your printer
i have a sony mini Hi-Fi Component System MHC-GX470. I comes on, the Radio and Tape deck plays well. the CD Player says "mecha Error" and hangs. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME???
e-mecha appears to be nothing more than an interlock. hitting reset clears the interlock, but if the problem has not been fixed, then the interlock will trip again, preventing operation.
Determine why the radio goes into mechanical failure to begin with. Once fixed, the interlocks will be made and the radio will play.
There are a number of events that all have to complete sucessfully including feedback from sensors to maintain the e-mecha interlock. One of your sensors is not being made, either by a sensor problem or by a mechanical issue that prevents the sensor from tripping.
