Hi, When you're setting it up to start, you need to press the start button, but look at the delayscreen. Keep pressing the start button until the delay-screen show zero delay time. The options are 0, 1 hour, through to 20 hours, just to help you to know what you're looking at/for. Best of luck.

Try getting the model and serial number and get a new switch button from your nearest appliance parts dealer. If you're really stuck for replacing it yourself, hang around the dealership and ask repair men that frequent the outlet.

Think it could be the clickstons

The striker is to long. Or the striker or the switch are adjustable, you can adjust to a shorter striking distance.

you may not be able too rebuild this unit. enter the appliance name n # in google, and download the manuel. lol.

Hi Patricia. Of course it is hae=rd to be sure from a distance, but the electricity supply (fuse box) turned off either because of an over current spike...or a short circuit. I would think it is possibly a short in the Zanussi which may have shut the fuse off and possibly at the same time burned out a live wire inside the machine. My advice...disconnect from power and call a repairman. Hope this helps.
