There are many A3 Canon printers, but let me mention two, one's the cheapest and the other one of the most reliable.
1. Canon BJC-5100 is the cheapest and one of the smallest A3 printer ever. It costs around $50.
2. Canon Laser Shot LBP3500 is another reliable and affordable Laser A3 printer. It costs around $850 to $900 (prices may vary).

These are not the only available Canon A3 printer, there are many more, you'll be able to find the best suit for your needs and requirements. Almost all printer supports bonded papers (like executive bond), there's nothing to worry about, but note that some don't support Photo paper or Thick/heavy paper.

I am sorry, but BJC-5100 cannot run on XP, as no driver has ever been released.
Here is the driver download page, for Win 98/Me and windows 2000.

What are you trying to connect to, you computer?

select Windows 2000, if running Windows XP

try this: go to start>control panel>performance and maintenance>
administrative tools> services> scroll down until you come to print spooler in upper left hand corner you will see restart. Click on it.
I have a HP 1350V and this works for me everytime I have an troulbe with it.

Hi, Normally an installer CD comes with the printer, if for some reason it is not available, it may be downloaded from the Canon website @ http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=329&modelid=7987 The driver/software is OS specific. It's an executable file which you have to double click to start installation after completion od download. Hope this be of help to you. Pls post back how things are. Good luck and kind regards.

there is still a piece somewhere,
1-where you put the paper there should be a lever,this tells the machine paper is present to print.
2-At the exit there is another lever telling it paper is going out and if there is a paper there.

Check to make sure these levers are free and can move easily, one may be stuck. Maybe you ripped the paper when trying to remove and a piece was left behind.

connect the printer cable to the usb port sir, and plug the power cable to the printer.. then turn it on.. thats all...
