Some motherboards allow you to roll back to the previous BIOS configuration. You may be able to do this before the computer hangs.
If not you will need a new motherboard.

Hmmm, this is an old motherboard. RAM is DDR and is expensive (than the new DDR2 or DD3). 1GB Kingston, or Corsair will be good. For low price, Zion is OK. Anyway, I wont much bother WHICH RAM!

If you have another PC laying around that's got a power supply high enough to run the one you're having problems with, consider swapping them out.

Though it could be *********** board, it would be easier to swap PS's and see if the issue goes away. If not, it may be your MB.

LGA775 is a type of processor connection, which stands for Land Grid Array, this is also known as a "Socket T."
VIA P4M800 is your chipset.
I'm not sure why exactly you want to be into the BIOS (Basic Input Output System), but In order to do this you need to press one of the function keys at boot, like F2 or F6, or even the Del Key. I could tell you which key to press next time if you would supply me with the motherboard Make and Model number. Also it will tell you at the bottom the monitor when you power on, which key to press to get into the BIOS. Hope this is informative for you. Good luck.

hi mate is that cpu or north bridge or south bridge or gpu? where are you reading these temps from bios core temp everest does it turn off due to heat please more info but if your overclocking 70 is normal under load if your using air cooling its high but you still got say 7 cel left for some chips before shutdown if its stock check for dust on heat sinks overchips cheers hope this helps
