Replace the Thermal Paste on the Processor.Make SURE you THOROUGHLY clean the Top of the Processor, and bottom of the finned Heatsink; BEFORE Properly applying fresh, new Thermal Paste.Use a plastic scraper to clean off the Processor, and Heatsink. I use an old credit card. (Good use for bad rubbish)Scrape off as much as you can. Use a can of compressed air for computers, and blo-w off the scraped old thermal paste.Then use Q-tips dipped In Isopropyl Alcohol. (Rubbing alcohol)91 percent is best, but 70 percent will do.50 percent = No IMHO. 50 percent water, and 50 percent Alcohol.Takes a LOT of alcohol dipped Q-tips, as it usually turns into a gooey mess.How clean? Clean enough you could literally eat off of it.CAUTION!!Isopropyl alcohol is EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE!Use in a WELL ventilated area with NO sparks or flames present!Dripping alcohol off of the Q-tip? Don't sweat it. Could be a grounding issue. Remove the mother board from the case, and place on a piece of cardboard. Plug in the power supply, memory, monitor and power switch if it will reach (if not then you will need to short the jumper were the power switch plugs in with a small screw driver). Once set up, power on the mother board, you should get a no hard drive error, since we did not plug it in. If this does work, you will need to go the hardware store and pick up some rubber or paper washer to place between the mother board and the case.

I am sure by now you figured out this problem being posted on July 2011. For anyone who may also have this issue. Check if the jumper for the clear cmos is present or on the right pins.

Remove the Floppy drive from the computer. If you do not have a floppy drive connected, remove your hard drives and see if the error message dissapears.

Yes any sound card with a pci fitting will work, you can even get an external sound card that plugs into a usb connection.
Which sound card is a matter of choice and budget. Personally, I like creative labs cards, suggest you look on ebay, as they are quite inexpensive. Worth considering a 7:1 output card, as it will allow you to install multi speaker systems in the future

at my experience beep like that is indicated the ram error, replace your ram with another one

You can go to http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx and search by model for the drivers for the motherboard. You then can download the audio driver for that motherboard and install it.

Check the memory is pushed in fully and the fan is properly connected. If it proceeds normally after this it may be standard boot procedure - some old motherboards give a long beep during startup. (if none of the above works, you could try resetting the bios) Hope this helps! Max

I can not understand ,what is your problem .If can not install the Xp on *********** board ,First install the vista,and then install the XP on vista.
Now a days, there are no option, for install the Widows xp, because.

Download the Driver and once that's finished, Double Click the file and let it run.

Reboot the PC and sound should be working.
