The same model ThinkPadcan have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless youknow exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download allthe drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver.
When you download thedrivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a recordof which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files arelocated on your hard drive.
Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEBsite - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP or Vista devicedrivers for your model computer, Use this link: -

This is an indication that either your RAM modules have gone bad/failed or have disconnected and therefore are not detected. Take it back to the seller if it is under warranty, if not take it to a computer technician and he/she will diagnose the exact fault.

GOOD MORNING SIR / MAAAM..
It
sounds as though your computer has the wrong time in the CMOS. The CMOS
(Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductors) is the chip that holds the
basic startup information for the BIOS, system and its peripherals while
the system is turned on and off.
If you can get into the BIOS check the date and time settings and make sure they are correct.
It may also be a case of the CMOS Battery going out.
When this happens your computer will tend to not keep the correct time.
They are cheap and relatively easy to replace. Before buying a new
battery you can try to take it out and let it sit for about 10 minutes
or so to reset the CMOS and then go put the battery back in and go into
the BIOS and reset the clock.
Hopefully taking the battery out or replacing it will get past your
lock icon asking for the password. If not then you may have to find out
the manufacturer of your computer's motherboard to see if there is a
common password to get past the lockout. Since it's a laptop then it
should be easier to find this code based on the manufacturer.

You haven't specified your Windows version. I could find an audio driver for both XP and 2000 only. The page you can get it from (look for file '1ga241ww.exe' there), as well as get additional informations about it, is

Hope it can suit your needs.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Wot is the default bios password
I am afraid that there is not a default password. Standard ie default is no password. if you have set a password and no longer remember it you may be able to erase it. but this is not recomended unless you know what you are doing, you could irreperably damage your notebook by doing so. I would advise you to take the laptop to the store where you purchased it and ask there for help These steps may not work depending on the BIOS configuration of your notebook and they may void your warranty so be aware.
- first remove the battery
- press the power button and hold it for approx. 7 seconds to make sure all power is drained from the circuits.
- using a screwdriver remove the screws on the bottom of the notebook until you can remove the plastic coverings.
- find the CMOS battery on the motherboard, it should look like a watch battery.
- remove the CMOS battery and leave it overnight.
- replace the CMOS Battery and reassemble your notebook.
- start your notebook and attempt to enter BIOS
Hope I was able to help
