HP Photosmart 435 Digital Camera - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I transfer my photos to my computer it won't work now
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa (
http://picasa.google.com ).

All cameras have a format card option, this will remove all pictures from your camera.
My camera wont turn on
I had the same problem, here is how I fixed it: Make sure batteries are fully charged, Open the cover of memory compartment, the red LED is flashing, it means that there is a reading error. I reset the camera (under the output connection cover), took off the memory chip, and replaced with a spare one, then it powered on and prompt to date/time set up. Let me know if this works for you. Hp photosmart camera stopped working
It sounds like a dew problem. Has it been left for a while without use? Leave it turned on in a warm room for a few hours and it should start working again. Hope this helps.
I cannot transfer picture to memory card how?
Connected the camera with the USB cable at pc, open Explorer pc program to view like a "external device", select your files and copy/paste en each folder.Other way could be using some external device to your SD Card.
How to insert camara card
If you have the original USB cable that came with the camera, there is a rubber flap on the side of the camera. Open that flap and the small end of the USB cable will fit into the plug located there.
Then take the larger end and plug it into a USB port on your computer. Depending on the computer you are using, this can be found on the front of the computer or the back. Sometimes there are also ports on the keyboard or monitor. Any USB port will do.
If you have the HP Image Unload software on your computer, simply turn the camera on. If you get a message asking to 'Select the program to launch' click 'Cancel.'
From this point the HP software will 'unload' your images on to your computer when you click 'Start Unload.'
----------
If you do not have the HP software, you need to change a setting in the camera for it to communicate with the computer.
Before you connect the camera with the computer, turn the camera on. Go to either the playback or capture menu and use the down arrow to select the setup menu (it looks like a wrench icon). Press OK.
Using the arrow keys, go to the 'USB Configuration' option and press OK.
Use the arrow keys and select 'Disk Drive' and press OK
Now connect the camera to your computer and go to 'My Computer'
The camera will appear as if it were a disk drive.
Select the camera and manually copy the image files to your computer.
