You must have the auto find feature disable on the movie program itself or the scanner is not setup to use the look up feature. I had the same problem. Send me the program and the scanner configuration and I will fix them for you. My email is [email protected]

I don't believe CRS provides pinouts for that scanner and cash register combonation. It would be easiest to just buy a cable from them or a local dealer.

Have a look at the HOST setting in your defaults. I set one of these to default and had the same result. I'm guessing it's because the HOST is blank on Default settings.

You have to scan the barcodes: Scan Options, Data Suffix, and Enter from the LS9100 Product Reference Guide. This knowledge article contains a link to download a Word document containing those barcodes.

My experience with symbol is quite vast, issues why it does not scan could be alignment problems, Controller problems, and the list goes on. I cannot really work with a issue that say it just does not scan this is vague.

3. check cables
4. check and see if the glass and mirror is clean and free of dust and debris.
