I dropped my on the floor. it was off at the time. Now I have a blank screen.

The display board may be broken it has three replaceable units 1. Screen (if damage / broken into pieces) 2. Display Connector (Which can damage when you drop) 3 The processor can be dislocated / even damaged severly the best decision is to replace those part through service center

Update your drivers in the computer. Scan your computer with RadarSync to know which drivers are outdated then update them.If you can still remember the time when the computer was still working just fine, then do a system restore to that time. I hope this helps!David

Keyboard won't work

When a keyboard stops working, has odd key letters, stuck keys and non-functioning keys for no reason at all, the laptop may have an easy fix solution. However, if liquid spilled on the laptop or the laptop was dropped and as, a consequence, the keyboard doesn't work, or the keyboard device has simply failed, fixing the problem may require a more involved laptop keyboard replacement. Click start control panel keyboard hardware make sure you have the right keyboard selected or you might have uninstall the keyboard then restart your computer then reinstall it and its drivers Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboard you might see a yellow question /exclamation mark ? ! or a red X right click update driver if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it. If its still not working Tap the "Alt" and "Shift" keys simultaneously if you are pressing one keyboard key and getting a different symbol or letter. This will reset the keyboard defaults on some laptops. Press the "Ctrl" key and tap the "Shift" key simultaneously if the procedure in Step 1 did not work. Press the "Fn" and one of the "F" keys to disable the "Num Lock." Different laptops use different "F" keys to disable the "Num Lock." Toggle each "F" key and press the "Fn" key at the same time to find the right key combination. Check your laptop manual to find the right key combination. Press the "Fn" key and the blue "NumLock" key simultaneously if the keyboard is typing numbers instead of letters or wrong letter keys and the above steps did not solve the problem. b> Keyboard Maintenance b> Blow compressed air in the cracks and crevices of the laptop keyboard. Sometimes dust and debris can cause keys to lock, making such keys non-functional. Disconnect the laptop from the power outlet and remove the battery. Make the tip of a cotton swab as thin as possible by rolling it between your finger tips. Dip the thinned cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and clean the crevices of the keyboard with the cotton swab. Continue cleaning between each key of the keyboard with the alcohol-dipped cotton swab. Use a new cotton swab whenever necessary. Slightly tip up one side of the laptop so dust will move from under the keys to the crevices so you can clean. Blow compressed air into the keyboard again as you did in Step 1 of Section 2. Reconnect the computer to the power and check to see if the issue is resolved. Insert the flat edge of a flat-blade precision screwdriver under a keyboard key and gently pry it up and off. Remember where the keys go, so you can easily replace them. Remove three keys at a time and clean with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Replace the keys and remove the next three. Do this until the entire keyboard has been cleaned. Disconnect the laptop from the power outlet and remove the battery again. Turn the computer so the rear is facing you. Remove the screws that hold the plastic hinges in place. Insert a small flat-blade precision screwdriver in the plastic hinge seam and pry the hinges up. Turn the computer back face forward and open the screen as far back as it will go. Continue lifting the plastic hinge and power plate until it comes off. Remove the screws you see holding the keyboard with a precision Phillips screwdriver. Blow compressed air under the keyboard. Lift the cable connector levers slightly and remove the data cable. Clean the cable pins with an alcohol-dipped cotton swab. Replace everything, power on the computer and try the keyboard again to see if the issue is resolved. b> Keyboard Replacement b> Connect an external keyboard to the USB port on the laptop and verify its working condition. Disconnect the external keyboard and verify that the keys on the laptop are still inoperable. Disconnect the laptop from the power outlet and remove the battery. Remove the laptop keyboard as you did in Step 3 of Section 2 by removing the plastic hinge and power button plate, the keyboard screws and disconnecting the data cable from the motherboard connector. Replace the keyboard with a new laptop keyboard for your laptop make and model.

When i start up my computer i keeps asking for an HDD Password

Yikes!!! I'm not calling you a thief, but 99% of the time when you encounter a laptop that has a lock on the hard drive and the person in possession of the laptop does not know the password, the laptop is stolen. The original owner put the lock on to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data. It could have been put on remotely by the original owner once they realized the laptop was missing. You're up the creek without a paddle.

I have a low cost lenovo b560 with a pentium

Hi!

Sorry you can't, intel pentium P series has different socket than Core i3 series.
And also, notebook is lowcost build exactly for the slower processor, putting there stronger processor will produce more heat, and possible overheating.

Lenovo Y550P stopped charging battery

Check the Power Adapter and Outlet: Ensure that the AC power adapter is securely connected to both your laptop and a functional power outlet. If your laptop has an AC power indicator light, make sure it's illuminated. If not, try a different wall outlet (avoid using a power bar) . Battery Charge Stops at 60%: If your battery charge stops at 55%-60% and shows a "plugged in, not charging" message, it might be due to a power management setting. Some Lenovo laptops have a feature that limits battery charging to extend battery life. To disable this: For models with Lenovo Energy Management, Lenovo Power Manager, OneKey Optimizer, Lenovo Settings, or Lenovo Vantage: Check if "Conservation Mode" is turned on. If so, turn it off. If the issue persists, try updating your laptop's BIOS: Go to the Lenovo support website, download the latest BIOS for your model, and install it. Reboot your PC and check if the problem is resolved. Hard Reset: Sometimes a hard reset can help resolve charging issues: Shut down your computer. Remove the battery (if detachable). Hold down the power button for 30 seconds (with the battery removed). Reattach the battery, plug in the AC adapter, and turn on the computer. The battery should start charging . If these steps don't solve the problem, there might be other causes.

How to connect an onn wireless mouse to a lenovo chromebook? i tried doing this 3 times and still wont connect.

Firstly, try turning over your Bluetooth mouse and find the power switch. Make sure it's turned to ON. You should see the optical light turn on (usually red). Place the mouse back flat on your mouse pad. On your Chromebook, select the lower right corner of the taskbar. In the window that pops up, select the Bluetooth icon. If the Bluetooth status is currently off, enable the toggle switch to enable Bluetooth. Once enabled, you'll see a scanning status as your Chromebook looks for active, nearby Bluetooth devices. When your wireless mouse appears, you can select it to pair and connect to it. Once your Chromebook has made its connection with your Bluetooth wireless mouse, you'll notice the mouse pointer moving when you move your mouse
