try cleaning your disk player with cleaning disk see what format your dvd player is set for chage to region 1 N America or whatever region you are in

it might be the problem is the optical pickup or flat wire of your portable player
pls. refer it to the qualified service technician.

I had the same problem. It kept reading no disc. This might be helpful- Insert a disc when you press power apply a little bit of pressure down on the door. It worked for me.

Unfortunately, your DVD player is broken. Portable units like these often get bumped and jostled and the motor that spins the DVD quits (very small and fragile). Sorry, I wish there were a magic button.

The screen is more expensive than the player. Buy a new player or look on ebay to see if anyone is selling a broken unit with a working screen.

Sounds like it's a problem with the optical sensor in the disk drive. Try and clean the little sensor with a cloth. If that doesn't work then you may have to send it back to Coby for either a warranty replacement or a repair.

First, if you have a receipt, you have a warranty.

If the unit will not play any commercial dvd, unfortunately, the unit has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. It can not be repaired. Our warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. Also, you may want to call the number above to see if your model qualifies for out of warranty exchange. The cost of the exchange would be $31.

The problem you're describing indicates the unit needs to be repaired or exchanged. There is nothing you'll be able to do to fix what's happening. If you've had the unit for less than a year and you have the receipt, contact the manufacturer to discover their warranty policy and procedure.
