If your printer was wirelessly working before, try to unplug/replug your printer to the power outlet. Doing this usually fixes minor communication issues.
If that doesn't help, please reset the wireless network adapter for your printer. On the printer operator panel, press Setup button -> Network Setup -> Reset Network Adapter to Factory Defaults. The WiFi light will momentarily turn off, then turns on steady orange. You can now reconfigure your printer for wireless connection.

My printer is Lexmark Pro705.

Some times the printhead contacts simply need to be cleaned.

Remove the cartridge and use a small amount (just enough to clean any foreign materials)of rubbing alcohol on a q-tip to clean the contact areas on both the cartridge and the printer.

Take care to not flood the contacts with the liquid.

Reset the cartridge firmly and try to print.

If this does not solve the problem, take this link to Lexmark for their suggested solutions.

Make sure to select the version of your operating system first then click the complete drivers and softwares in the recommended downloads.

Run the installation file. It will tell you what to do step by step.
In most cases, you still need to have the USB cord for setup before you can connect your printer with a wireless connection.

Printer jsut started printing everything in black

I have a similar printer. The only thing I can suggest is to check your printer settings, they may have inadvertently been defaulted to print black only. In Windows, go to your printer folder and right click the printer icon. Select "print preferences" and go to the color tab and see what it's set at. Also, if you copy something from the glass in color, are you getting color?

Press OK
Test page will print, total pages printed will be under Product Information.
Total pages that were printed with the installed printhead will be
under Printhead Information.

There is no continuous ink system on sale at present.
You would need to construct one and use the Lexmark 100A ink cartridges.

You could try to remove and reinsert the printhead.
Open the printer and lift the latch.
Remove the printhead.
Wipe the printhead contacts with a lint-free cloth.
Reinsert the printhead.

I have gone through $100 in ink this month alone

Hi there,

Check the settings of your printer, either in the software that came with it or the printing preferences in the Control Panel. If your ink tone is set too dark, it could be using a lot of ink. If this is not the case, then:

1) Clean the ink cartridges
2) Replace the ink cartridges as they may have expired. 3) Replace the printer and find one which uses cartridges that can perform more copies in a single fill.

When faxing paper should the face be up or down

If you are using the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for faxing, place your original document face up. If you are using the scanner bed, place your original document face down.

You can refill Lexmark 100 ink cartridge but the cartridge will still indicate to be out of ink
There is a RFID chip that monitor the ink level of that cartridge.
If you purchase the Lexmark 100A ink cartridge, these ink can be refill and the printer will
work even if out of ink..
Lexmark 100A ink cartridge can be purchase at Lexmark.com website.
Since you have refill your cartridge, you can transfer the chip from the 100A in the future.
