How can I get my printer to work with my iphone 4?
The Lexmark S405 is not airprint compatible but you can still print from an iOS device using our LexPrint app. You will also need to install our LexPrint Listener to a host computer which will serve as a bridge for your printer and iOS device.Just go to http://bit.ly/KY8eCI for more info.

What is a fax remote error. When faxing a document, it scan, dial and connect but dont send. i get an error message.
Try to check the physical connection of the printer. Try to plug in the printer straight to the wall jack. One end should be at the back of the printer in the line port and the other end should connect straight to the wall jack. If you need to connect a phone to the same jack, connect it to the back of the printer instead (ext port).Also, try to powercycle your printer. Just unplug the power of the printer for about 30 seconds then plug it back in.Updating the firmware of your printer would also help. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.

Printer is skipping random words at the beginning and end of sentences.
First, make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges. If not, replace the cartridges.Second, try updating the firmware of your printer. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.Third, perform a maintenance on the cartridges. To do that, on the control panel of your printer, press on Setup > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.If the steps above doesn't help and you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges and provided that your printer is still under warranty, please contact our technical support team to have the printhead replaced.If not, you can go to www.lexmark.com to purchase a printhead.

No ip address and there is no communication
You'll have to connect your printer to your network to get a valid IP address. If you've already tried that, please unplug the power of your printer for about 30 seconds then plug it back in.Once your printer is back on, connect the USB cable and run the wireless setup. You can access that through Lexmark Printer Home. To access that, on your computer, click on Start > All Programs > Lexmark > Lexmark Printer Home > Settings tab > Wireless Setup Utility > Follow the prompts.Make sure to type in the correct credentials for your network.

Papper jam
Try to take out the duplexer at the back of the printer and check if there's any paper left inside the printer/duplexer. Also, check inside the printer if there are any foreign objects blocking the paper path.You might also want to unplug the power of the printer for about 30 seconds then plug it back in.
