When locking doors they unlock
What's the year, make and model of the vehicle? Are you saying that the door locks cycle...like the door is open when you try to lock it?

If the starter is turning over, then it's more than likely not an alarm or keyless problem. if it was even connected, the starter kill feature is used to "cut" the starter wire from the ignition and the starter itself, and if you say it's turning over, that's where i get my answer for it not being the avital. of course there could be more to it, remote start added, and the type of car make a huge difference, could be a bypass module for bypassing a factory security system, so without any more info, that's all i can give you. hope this helps, dave
