When was the last time you white balanced your camera? I can't say for certain, but it sounds very similar to a problem I use to deal with all the time.

- locate a place with similar lighting conditions as the subject, place a white object near the center of the screen and zoom in to fill the screen with white
- press the auto white balance button
I got all of this from the

I have a jvc GY-HM100U High Definition Camcorder
The gy-hm100 can record to sdhc media up to 32gb in each slot (total 64gb). For best performance you must use class 10 sd cards. Your camera may need updated firmware that enables class 10 support so check the JVC Pro website and follow the firmware instructions if you haven't done so already. Also, make sure your card is formatted and unlocked with plenty free space. 4 gb is not much at all and a card that size may not be of sufficient speed to operate correctly in the gy-hm100.

JVC everio gz ms120 menu buttons no longer working
If you're experiencing issues with the menu buttons on your JVC Everio GZ-MS120 camcorder after adjusting the settings, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Remove the power source: Disconnect the camcorder from any power source, including the battery and AC adapter. Leave it disconnected for a few minutes to ensure a complete power cycle.
- Reset the camcorder: While the power source is disconnected, press and hold the "Reset" button on the camcorder. The reset button is usually located in a small hole or recessed area and may require a small pin or paperclip to access. Hold the button for several seconds, then release it.
- Reconnect the power source: Reattach the battery or connect the AC adapter to the camcorder and turn it on. Check if the menu buttons are now responsive. If not, proceed to the next step.
- Connect to a computer: Use the USB cable to connect your camcorder to a computer. Once connected, some camcorders allow you to control and adjust settings through the computer's software or firmware update utilities. Try accessing the settings through the computer interface to adjust the display brightness or perform a factory reset.
- Contact JVC support: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it's recommended to reach out to JVC's customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance tailored to your camcorder model and help you troubleshoot the problem effectively.
Remember to provide as much detail as possible about the issue and the steps you've already taken when contacting support. This will help them provide accurate and efficient assistance.

Play back on jvc video movie GR-A1E distorted
It is possible that the heads in your JVC video camera need cleaning, especially if the playback picture looks distorted and similar to a VHS tape played on a player with dirty heads. Dirty or worn-out heads can cause playback issues, including poor picture quality, distorted images, and tracking problems.
To clean the heads in your JVC video camera, you can try the following steps:
- Purchase a head cleaning cassette: You can find head cleaning cassettes online or in electronics stores. Make sure to get one that is compatible with your JVC video camera.
- Insert the cleaning cassette: Open the tape compartment on your JVC video camera and insert the head cleaning cassette. Close the tape compartment.
- Run the cleaning tape: Press the play button on your JVC video camera to run the cleaning tape. The cleaning tape will clean the video heads as it plays.
- Eject the cleaning tape: Once the cleaning tape has finished playing, eject it from your JVC video camera.
- Test your tapes: Try playing your tapes again to see if the picture quality has improved.
If cleaning the heads does not solve the problem, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with your JVC video camera.

How to fix Jvc GR-D239E safemode 06?
Safemode 06 on JVC camcorders usually indicates a problem with the tape transport mechanism. It could be a mechanical issue or an electrical issue. It's possible that the black rubber you found inside the camera was a part of the tape transport mechanism that came loose or broke off. It's also possible that there is some debris or dirt stuck in the tape transport mechanism, preventing it from functioning properly.
One thing you can try is to clean the tape transport mechanism with a soft brush or compressed air. Be careful not to touch any of the delicate parts inside the camera. You can also try using a different tape to see if the problem is with the tape itself.
If cleaning the tape transport mechanism and using a different tape doesn't solve the problem, it may be necessary to take the camera to a professional for repair. They will be able to diagnose the issue more accurately and determine if any parts need to be replaced.
