Puk means personal unlocking key..
It is found on your sim card documents..
If you dont have that then call for your sim service provider and give the details of sim card owner..
They will verify your details and give you the puk code..
However you have 10 attempts to find the puk code..
On the 10th attempt your card will be blocked if you do not provide the correct code..
Then you need to buy a new one from your sim service provider..

PUK code means you have guessed the password on your SIM card too many times incorrectly.

The PUK & PIN codes are Security Codes that are on the SIM card. PIN( Personal Identification Number ) PUK ( Pin Unlock Key). when the PIN code in entred wrong the SIM automatically Blocks the PIN. to unlock the PIN you need to Enter the PUK. but if you enter the PUK wrong the Entire SIM is Locked.

The PIN Code & the PUK codes are Only Known by your Network Provider. you have to get in touch with them to get the codes. how ever if you have PUK blocked you will have to get a replacement SIM

your SIM card is VOID meaning it does not work any longer. That means you must contact your service provider, and they will have to send you a new SIM card. This happened to me once before, and it was a pain. :-( Anyways I did'nt get charged for the new SIM card though.

you need to call at&t for the subsidy unlock code so u can use it on another network

just contact the service provider for the puk code . its a sort of protection given to the service when any one miss use it by the service provider.

You'll need to get a new SIM. Contacting AT&T will get you a free one and save you $25. If you want to just get one, Walmart and RadioShack and Best Buy all sell them.

make sure you have a sim card placed in your phone

take sim card and place it in and out again if that dont work i know u can only enter the wrong code 10 times b4 the sim will b no good

yes u can use it but u need to call your current provider for the subsidy lock code to use it on another carrier

Absolutly you got locked phone and you need to unlock that phone before you can use your sim card on that phone. To unlock lg gr500, you will need lg unlock code for your network carrier. This unlock code can be purchased at third party sites on internet.

That means that your sim card is either not capable with this phone or that the sim card is broken.

One question: when did you get the phone?

boost mobile doesn't work with att even if its unlocked. It will only work with Tmobile if unlocked.

1-Remove sim card and tap emergency or From the standby screen
2-Select Dialing Button
3-Dial "3845#*500#" (you will then be in the engineering menu)
4-Reset phone
Your password should now be removed.
