My tomtom via 280 was working and i turned the car off it shut down and when i went to restart the car tomtom never came back on and will not turn on manually i was wondering is it no good?

Just shows initial screen with palm tree . Does not respond to touch. Flashes to white screen with small image of tomtom and to black screen with word tomtom along side
