Sorry I have no experience with this printer. I would go to the sharp website and check whether there is a firmware installer there or ask at one of the support forums that may exist on the website.

That error code means that its the wrong cartridge. You should be using a MX-27NTCA for the Cyan toner.

Press and hold the copy button on the right side of the LCD and it will give a percentage range like 75-50% and give you your total copy count.

Do you open the upper right side door to look at this roller? If so that roller has a few different names like PS roller. Anyway it may need to be cleaned or replaced. Cleaning would be my first pick cause it is cheaper and easier. That rollers original color is black. So if it is gray looking then it is covered in dirt and paper dust. You can use windex and a lint free cloth to clean it off. Spray the windex on the cloth and not the roller. If after cleaning it doesn't help then it probably needs to just be replaced.

Your PTC unit needs to be replaced. Which is the Primary Transfer Charge unit.

If the line is all the way across your page, consult your users manual for cleaning the sawtooth electrode (open the front door and take out your waste tank, there is a green rod on each drum cartridge you can pull and hear a zipping noise) and cleaning the laser lens (there should be a cleaning wand under your waste tank, turn pad side down and insert in the gap underneath your drum cartridge)

Turn printer off and on again. Check that all cables are plugged in and that router is working properly.

Install the print driver, from the app you are printing from select your copier and then Properties, under the Paper tab you can select your paper type and tray. Only use the right side manual feed tray for envelopes. You may also need to set paper type ENVELOPE COM-10 in the copier. Extend the manual feed tray fully and set the guides or the copier will not read the correct size.

Your PTC- Primary Transfer Corona has gone out. This is an electrode on a stick located underneath the transfer belt on the right side. These are supposed to have a life rating of 300,000 but I have known some to go out prematurely. You can order the PTC seperately or with the 1st Transfer rebuild kit. Meanwhile, you can bypass the error by changing a soft switch.

From Copy mode type # * C * this will put your machine in service sim mode.

Type 55 - start then 1 - start

Set the engine soft switch 8-3 in SIM55-1 to "1".

This setting disables the PTC output, the heater

control, and the error detection.

After completion of repair, set the engine soft switch 8-3
in SIM55-1 to "0".

On this model it means your front door that you open to change toner cartridges. Make sure your waste toner tank is seated properly.

Most envelopes should work as long as you have:
1) fed them from the right side manual feed tray face down with the short side to the copier.
2) selected ENVELOPE as your paper type to run slower and lower your fuser heat.

The copier is designed for envelopes that have the flap down and the regular wettable adhesive. If you have gummed adhesive with a waxy peel strip that you remove before closing, the copier may not be designed to handle this. It may also help to put the front and rear pressure tabs on the fuser in the UP position.
