This is clearly office equipment and I would think a service contract would grant you access to a service tech who would fix this. While I suspect unplugging the machine and plugging it back in would reset it, just how that would affect its setup configuration is unclear to me. It might put you into a world of hurt requiring re-installation of the printer. That could get complicated if it is a printer on a LAN serving multiple users. What do you mean by ' brand new'? If it is less that a year old it may still be covered by a warranty so go back to the store you bought it from and see what they can do. How long is it since you last used it? If you've haven't used it for a few months a battery can get 'old' and struggle to hold a charge even if the display says it's fully charged. Did you store it with the battery still in it? This can flatten the battery faster and in some cases cause issues when trying to recharge it. Do you get anything when you try to power it on or is it "dead"? You could consider buying a second battery and trying that. I think they are reasonably cheap (around £15) including the original Samsung brand battery. This would give you a spare to use as well. Try removing the battery from the camera and checking it looks OK. Using a DRY Q tip (cotton bud) clean the battery contacts and CAREFULLY clean the ones inside the camera as well. They should be clean and shiny, no dust, dirt or fluff covering them. Making sure it is the correct way around refit the battery and retry to turn it on.
