Locked on heat dry setting
Could the model number actually be KUDE70CVSS2? All of the Kitchenaid dishwashers listed on their site have 4 letters between the numbers.
If this is the right model, then the Heat Dry/Lock is probably indicating the Control Lock is active. Hold the Heat Dry button for at least 4 seconds. The Control Lock which prevents anyone from changing or starting the dishwasher by accident; press and hold for 4+ seconds to toggle it on and off. You can find the manual for most Kitchenaid appliances through their support site:
https://www.kitchenaid.com/customer-service/manuals/ . The direct link to the owner's manual for the KUDE70CVSS2 is
https://www.kitchenaid.com/digitalassets/MLPDF/User%20Instructions%20-%20W10208709.pdf . The use of the Control Lock feature is on page 5 of the manual.
I hope this helps.

My 6-year-old dishwasher is not getting my dishes
Do a web search on "kitchenaid KUDP01FLBL2 not getting dishes clean". All sorts of reasons pop up. Some are easier to correct than others depending on how handy you are.
Good luck on you troubleshooting
Hi, We have 5-year old Whisper Quiet model. After
There are a couple of things that can cause a fault like this. The most common is that the filters are nearly blocked and are full of old food particles. I suggest you remove all the filters inside the dishwasher and make sure they are completely clean. Use the owners manual to make sure you do them all as it is easy to miss one. The other possibility is that the inlet water filter is nearly blocked and it is not getting enough water to wash the dishes properly. This is harder to get to as you need to remove the dishwasher, remove the water hoses from it, and then check the small filters in the inlet water lines connections. It is common after many years of use, to find them almost blocked.
Water from garbage disposal backing up
Check to see if there is a loop in the drain line. The drain line coming out of the disposal has to have a loop in it that is higher than the disposal. That way water can't drain back into the dishwasher.

Has something similar happen to me on ours. It's turned out that it was the door interlock. On mine, its a little bare metal, "U" shaped piece at the top of the door opening, that had become coated with oxide. This piece acts as a ground to signal that the door is closed. All I had to do to fix it, was to clean it back to shinny metal with a bit of steel wool. (!)

Just try unplugging and see if that resets the control panel. Sometimes that will do it. Good luck
