2005 fat boy oil change

Stand the bike upright. Remove the dipstick from the oil tank. Remove the drain plug on the bottom right side of the frame. While the oil is draining, replace the oring on the drain plug. Remove and replace the oil filter, after filling the new filter half full of oil. Replace the drain plug. Put 3 quarts of oil in the oil tank. Replace the dipstick. Start the bike and check for leaks. No leaks, you're done! I use HD Syn 3 synthetic oil in my '04 Fatboy, but you can also use a conventional 20w50, as long as it's made for use in and air cooled motorcycle. Don't use car oil!

How to change Spark Plugs in a 2007 Toyota Rav-4 with a 3.5 V-6 engine

1. Check the gap at the base of the new spark plugs with a spark plug gap tool. If the gap on any plug is not between 0.039 and 0.043, exchange the plug for a new one. Do not attempt to adjust the gap on the plugs.
2. Open the two latches on the passenger's side of the air-filter box. Pull the front half of the air box toward the front of the engine and push it to the side. Remove the air filter from inside the air-filter box. This allows you access to the ignition coil packs.
3. Unplug the wiring harness from the top of one coil pack. Remove the bolt securing the coil pack with a ratchet and socket, and pull the coil up from the engine.
4. Remove the spark plug using a ratchet, 6-inch extension and a spark plug socket.
5. Hand-tighten the new spark plug into the RAV4's engine and torque it to 14 foot-pounds with a torque wrench, 6-inch extension and a spark plug socket.
6. Squeeze a small amount of dielectric grease into the rubber boot at the bottom of the ignition coil pack. Push the coil pack onto the new spark plug until it clicks into place. Tighten the coil pack bolt to 6 to 7 foot-pounds with a torque wrench, 6-inch extension and a spark plug socket. Reconnect the wiring harness on the top of the coil pack.
7. Replace all four spark plugs, by repeating Steps 4 through 7 on all four plugs.
8. Sit the air filter back into the air-filter box. Reinstall the front half of the air-filter box and close the latches to lock it in place.

How do you change the spark plug on a Coleman Powermate 5000 10P Generator? It has been sitting for about eight years since last use and won't start. Would like to change the spark plug, but it seems...

The plug is under the gas tank. They can be difficult to get to and you may have to remove/loosen the tank. If you can remove the spark plug wire you could test for spark. If you have a spark and it still doesn't crank the spark plug is probably the least of your worries unless you drained the tank and the carb (most people don't.)
If you have a spark give a spritz of starter fluid into the carb after removing the air filter and see if it runs for even a bit. If it does fire and doesn't run, clean the carb.
Good luck.

Where is the gas filter

Hi,

The gas filter is inside the gas tank. If you're wanting to change the filter, first remove all gas from the tank.
Next, remove cover and probably the air filter so you can see the fuel lines.
Use a needle nose pliers to grab the filter through the tank opening.
Some chain saws have 2 lines coming from the tank. Give a little tug on the gas filter to see which line it is attached to inside.
You will have to remove the line at the other end where it attaches to the pump or crankcase.
Pull the filter and line up and out of the tank. Put on a new filter and pull the line back to the nipple it was attached to.
Push down on the filter to seat it in the opening.

Depending on the make and model of your chainsaw, some have washers under the filter that seat against the inside of the fuel tank. Be sure to press this kind to seat it.

Hope this helps. If it does. I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

Handie Andie

How do i change the fuel filter for a 2000 blazer. i try to do my own work. I did the diagnostic test at Auto Zone and the two codes that came up were PO 171 and PO 174. The truck does not acclerate good...

Hi, I have pasted instructions for replacing the fuel filter below, but that may not be the problem. A lot of things can cause those trouble codes. I recommend you also clean your MAF sensor and check for vacuum leaks. Check all hoses attached to the intake manifold for cracks--especially the big air inlet hose. The MAF is accessible from the air filter housing. Remove the air filter and look into the big pipe toward the engine. The sensor sticks down into the airstream. Use a spray can of electric parts cleaner to spray the sensor several times. Do you touch or wipe the sensor. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.
