Clutch ajustment can anyone tell me how to ajust the hydrolic clutch

It is not adjustable as it is Hydrolic. it self adjusts.

If you just installed a master cylinder for it, the shaft does have a minor adjustment on it.

Most likely what is happening is one of two........

1. The clutch is worn out and the pedal is getting VERY LOW.

2. The clutch is new and you have air in the system............. These things are a nightmare to bleed out. slowly pump the pedal while someone uses a prybar to disengage the clutch to allow full travel of the slave cylender. While they hold the pedal release the pry bar and open the bleeder, repeat twice more, then fill the master cylender again, continue until all air is out!

if its upper noise eg folowers and lifters if they are hydrolic lifters where these replaced are the cams ok if they are manually ajustable tappets these can be ajusted unless the following are goosed again the cams are pitted or mishapen will need new cam shaft the lifter rods are worn or week valve springs
but if they are hydrolic will have to be replaced inc cam shaft hope this makes sence ivan

You need to ajust the clutch .IS it a cable if so tighten it a bit or if it is hydrollic you need to bleed it

depends if its a cable clutch you will be able to ajust screw out on pedal will give u a bit more if its hydrolic its unlikely you will be able to

Cluth cable ajustment if equiped.Some cars have a cluth cylender if your model has the cylender no ajustment is available.If you had your cluth changed at a garage you might consider takeing it back in for ajustments.If you changed the clutch check cluth cable for ajustment if your car is equiped with cable if not i would perhaps remove the transmission and inspect clutch for loose clutch plate or release bearing might not be seated properly hope this helped you.

hi are you talking about ajustment of free play if so the ajustment is via the cable end located at the clutch fork there are two nuts slacken one and tighten up on the outher one that is the only ajustment outherwise you have a worn clutch and you have to replace it please rate my answer thanks

your handbreak connects to the rear breaks follow the cable from your break drum where the 2 meet is the ajustment give it a squart of penertrating oil before ajusting as it has been open to the weather also there is further ajustment where the cable enters the hand break lever good luck ps if this dosent do the trick i suggest you cable is fully streched you will need to fit a new one

for a slipper clutch you replace the pads

for motors clutch you replace the pads and springs

and for the brake you replace the pads unless disc is no longer smooth/pads missing then replace disc too

slipper clutch adjustment, hold the vehicle stationary and turn the spur gear by hand, it should turn if not then loosen nut on slipper, if too easy then tighten...............drive to fine tune......it should slip if stopped at full throttle to prevent spur/clutch gear damage

Your clutch is not disengaging. If it a hydrolic clutch chk. the fluid in resavor, Or slave cyl. for the clutch is bad, Or it has got air in it and needs to be bleed. This is a clutch problem, nothing wrong with trans. If its a manual clutch linkage its an ajustment thing. My best guess if its hydrolic slave cyl. went bad, or resavor is out of fluid.
