Ignition fuse blows as soon as key is turned on. Bike has not moved and just started doing this.
Look for a grounded wire on the ignition switch or a break in the wiring leading to the fuse. Wiring system on motorcycles are a close system with only the battery being grounded to the frame. Any loose connections or breaks in the wires that will allow the current to jump to the frame with cause you tons of fun.

I have Rush slip on's on my bike. The air being emitted from the right side exhaust (front cylinder) is warmer and stronger than the exhaust air being emitted from the left (rear cylinder). The right (front) slip on portion of the exhaust is much warmer to the touch than the left side (rear cylinder). I noticed in the left (rear) slipon a littleness wetness (black and oily) at the bottom rear of same. The bike seems to be running ok however. I have noticed some difference in the sound. Doesn't sound as strong and or as loud. Both spark plugs appear to have the same color with respect to firing. Neither plug is oily. The check engine light comes back on for a few seconds after start up then goes off and doesn't come on again until after the next start up. The year model is a 2007. The selector down below would not allow the choice of an 07. 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic.
check out any blockage in the fuel pump as its getting proper pressure to get started.

how do I get to the shift linkage arm on the transmition end to tighten
Dude this is one of Harleys worst engenering feat. first do this/ take a long allen and loosen the bolt then retighten it. Sometimes this will work. If not my friend you have to take the inner Primary off just to remove that piece off the rod. If harley woild just give us a quater of an inch it would slip off. but they won't. So it takes a couple hrs (experienced) to change a 5 dollar part and 20 second fix. All the work is in removeing the primary. thats the only way their is no room between that shaft and the back of the inner primary... Like i said try the loosen and tighten trick first if your splines are to shot you have to go the hard route. Sorry hope this helps... I changed mine 3 months ago hahhah Plus I do it for a living.

I,ve got a 2008 Ultra classic, and want to change the fluids. It's got 8000 miles, and i dont have a owners manual.
the oil, i can figure out , but the trans, and the primary I dont have an idea.
On the bottom of your transmission, there are two drain plugs, one for the transmission and one for the engine oil. The plug in the center is the transmission drain plug and the one toward the left front is the engine oil drain. The primary drain is a small pipe plug that takes a Torx wrench located at the bottom of the primary cover towards the rear of the bike.
Engine oil three quarts with filter. Then start the bike and let it run for a few minutes. Shut down the engine and check the oil level with the dipstick. The dipstick has two marks on it. "Full Cold" and "Full Hot". Fill to the full cold mark.
Transmission takes 20-24 ounces of oil and the primary takes 38-44 ounces of oil. Do not overfill the primary as it will cause your clutch to drag. All three sections take H-D Syn3 20W50 synthetic engine oil.

How to stop oil leak from clutch cable
If the oil is leaking out of the clutch cable, you must replace the clutch cable. The cable has a seal in the end of it that is supposed to keep the oil from getting into the cable. If the seal is bad, there is no way to dix it and the cable has to be replaced. If the oil is leaking where the cable goes into the transmission, there is an o-ring aound the threaded end of the cable that could be bad. It depends on whether the oil is coming out of the cable or around the cable.
Good Luck

I am riding my 2005 ultra classic and the voltage meter goes up and down then when I sit idle it stays about 14 volts but if I sit idle and give it gas (rev the engine) it will drop to about10 volts.. It keeps going up and down.
There is a fault in the alternator Probably worn brushes or damaged slip rings that are not keeping good contact under revs. Could even be oil on the armature causing the problem

what is torque spec for 2014 front rotor bolts
Per the FLH/FLT Clymer manual on 06-09 model years.
Brake disc torx bolts are FRONT WHEEL 16-24 FT.-LB
REAR WHEEL 30-45 FT.-LB.
I wouldn't think it would change that much year to year on FLHTCUI.

i need to know the order from disk side to the nut where the spacers go is the a spacer on both sides of the brake caliper
With the larger outside diameter on the outboard side hold the external spacer between the belt sprocket and the rear swingarm and then slide the axle through left side of the swingarm, the external spacer and the belt sprocket into wheel hub and then when the axle emerges from the hub on the brake disc side of the wheel, push the axle through the short external spacer, the brake caliper bracket and the right side of the rear swingarm.
