Fuel gauge doesn't work 2008 Qlink Legend 250
It sounds like the negative wire on the float has a broken solder bead. This happened to my 2007. All you need to do is remove the float, and resolder the loose wire. Should fix it. If not there is also a small sending unit on the float that could be bad [though rare]. In that case replacement is necessary.

Oil is leaking from under
The oil could be engine oil or gearbox oil. It is important to find out which as you don't want an expensive repair in a few more miles!
There may be a leak from a gasket that is not sealing properly. Check by cleanin under the bike and placing a clean sheet of cardboard under it to show you where it is leaking from.
Hope that guides you to your fault.

My 2007 Q link legend
sounds new enough to not have troble like this. The battery might be bad or dead or the connedctions can be bad. If the battery test good and is fully charged. it may have blown a fuse. If it did you need to inspect the vehical for the cause of the problem that blew the fuse. Sure fuses can blow if their old or rusty, but most of the time a pinched wire or broken connector ( rusted). The ingtion switch is sometimes exposed to water and the switch may need to be carefully cleaned to restore the connection.

I put gas with ethanol in it had trouble so i
I doubt it had anything to do with you putting ethanol in the tank. First thing you should do is pull the spark plug and see what it looks like. If it is dry and light grey/tan color, then you are not getting gas. Check to see if the petcock is plugged by taking the supply hose that goes from the tank to the carburator and open the petcock to make sure you have good flow. If the spark plug is wet and smells like gas, then you have a spark issue. I would look that over and report back what you find.
Good Luck

Tire saftey
A good patch job (removing the tire and repairing with a patch on the inside of it) I feel is much better than a plug IMHO
I used to do allot of automotive tire repairs with patches and can't remember if any actually came apart or became defective. The plug may have a tendency to loosen and leak.
On the other hand allot of people would replace the tire just to have peace of mind with regards to motorcycle tires. 1500 miles is close enough to justify replacement.
