ERROR CODE 43 ON CD PLAYER 2008 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. HOW DO I FIX

run a cd disk cleaner disk thru the player. see if that will help?lol.

The motor that spins the disk no longer works, disassemble the cd player and replace your cd motor with a new one. Radio shack has them, but I suggest replacing your player with an aftermarket unit like sony, kenwood, audiovox, or any other high quality cd players.

disconnect the 2 audio fuses and wiat 5 minutes with the ignition key off, insert both fuses, then turn the key on. if it doesnt eject, it probably has an internal defect and will need to be repaired.

Have a qualified Hyundai Service Technician properly diagnose your vehicle. Chances are the audio unit has malfunctioned (OR, it can't read the CD). Is the CD one you 'burned' yourself? Can it read a NEW CD? If not, cleaning the "Read Head" inside the player might cure it, but, odds are the unit has an internal malfunction.

It might be worth a trip to the service center/dept to find out exactly what the problem is. If you're the original owner, it could still be under warranty!

Normally the Audio (Radio CODE) is noted in the owner's manual. If you don't have it, you must contact Hyundai Motor America and give them the Vehicle VIN number... they may then (possibly) be able to give you the CODE.

It may still be under warranty. Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), or call them to find out if it's still under warranty. If so, take the vehicle in and they will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (warranty repair, or parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

Still under warranty?... check that.

I HAVE A 2008 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. I HAD THIS PROBLEM WHEN I WANTED TO REPLACE MY FACTORY RADIO. I ENDED UP TAKING APART MOST OF MY DASH TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT. AFTER ALL SAID AND DONE. I FOUND OUT THAT THE PIECE THAT GOES AROUND THE RADIO JUST SNAPS INTO PLACE. I USED A COUPLE OF FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVERS TO PRY IT OFF. THAT IS IT. IT IS THAT EASY. THE WHOLE CAR JUST SNAPS TOGETHER. THE CAR IS CHEAPLY PUT TOGETHER.
