If the dash lights are on the same circuit as the park lights. Chances are if no dash lights... no park lights. Unless the dash light dimmer switch is on the low position. Check park light fuse. If no brake lights... which are on a different circuit and you are sure the bulbs are ok check brake light fuse. If fuse ok, unplug brake light switch at brake pedal and cross the terminals with a jumper. If brake lights work, the brake switch is faulty. If still no brake light operation suspect a wiring issue
Look under dash at the top of your brake pedal. See the button switch, that the pedal pushes in. Push in and out by hand a few times. Put a dab of oil on your finger, put on button, and push in a few times by hand
U may have a faulty "brake lamp switch" normally located under your brake pedal, that's probably the cause of brake lights staying on. Check your fuses,,could be blown
sounds like you need to add brake fluid....make sure the brake fluid is topped off.....also, check your parking brake, to make sure it is released all the way.....
theres a lil slot on the lower left face plate of the dash.. Insert Ignition key or suitable tool (very small screwdriver) and hold for a few seconds.. this will reset the mileage counter and turn off the oil lamp.. Thankx
How are the brakes acting? This means that you have a brake system malfunction, or that your parking brake is on. 1st thing to check is fluid level. If it's low the light will go on. If it is low, check for leaks. Is your brake pedal low, 'squishy' going to the floor, brakes fading? All of these are system problems. Release the parking brake (even if you don't think it's on, push down on brake release). If it's not adjusted properly, the light can come on. Although it could be a minor problem, don't screw around, find out what's wrong because you may completely lose your brakes next time out. good luck countrycurt0
