if you take out the one oval piece out of the door (you'll have to crawl in over the seats so your facing out the back )there you well see the oval pieces at the bottom and the one that is of center on the drivers side then there well a switch that if you use screw driver that is longer then 3" inches long and push it in there then the door well open as i just had to do this my self .

I had a rented chevy hhr and don't know how to open the trunk

I hope that you were able to get your luggage out by now! Seriously, for those finding this through their favorite search engine - there is a rubber pad above the license plate and behind the chrome bar with the Chevrolet bow-tie. If the car is working normally, the lift gate will release.

How do I open the gas tank door on the Chevy hhr

There is no inside release on the HHR. Simply press in on the rear of the gas fill door and it will "pop" open. Make sure you press it in again when you close it...

How do you turn off the GPS onstar in a chevy hhr

  • Open the back hatch of your Chevroleticon1.png HHR.2
  • Lift up the floor maticon1.png on the bottom of the trunk. You will see your spare tire, jack and OnStar unit. Unscrew the top of the OnStaricon1.png unit, using a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the lid from the top of the OnStar unit box; you will see three white plastic cables running from the OnStar box to your vehicleicon1.png.

Unplug the three cablesicon1.png from the OnStar unit to disconnect them.
