When diagnosing the Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) system for rough idling, poor acceleration, camshaft timing misalignment-related trouble codes, misfire related trouble codes, and/or other related symptoms, it may be required to inspect the Follow the procedure to inspect the OCV. If the OCV operates normally, then carry out other necessary repairs. Do not replace the OCV if normal operation is confirmed. OCV SUPPLIER : COIL RESISTANCE AT 68°F (20°C) Denso 6.9~7.9 Ohms MEASURED RESISTANCE 68°F (20°C). RECOMMENDED ACTION 1.1. Denso (6.9~7.9 Ohms) 1.2. Delphi (6.7~7.7 Ohms) Check if the OCV operates normally by providing 12V power. (See the STEP 2.) 1.2. Infinity (OPEN): Open circuit - Replace the OCV. 2. Check if the OCV operates normally by providing 12V power as shown in the picture IMPORTANT: Careful attention is necessary to avoid a short circuit when providing the OCV with 12V power. Spacing between the OCV power and signal terminals is very narrow. Use suitable connections to prevent shorting of the test power supply. 3. When 12V power is provided to the OCV, the OCV must move forward as shown in the picture below. A: Maximum retarded valve timing condition (12V not provided) B: Maximum advanced valve timing condition (12V provided) NOTE: Reverse the connection polarity if the movement 2007 Tucson, has poor idle - tdisline_5.jpgr />
4. If the OCV does not move forward, examine if a foreign object like an aluminum chip (C) is jammed inside the OCV. • Blow out the foreign object using compressed air, reinstall the OCV and then verify that the fault is corrected. • If there is no damag2007 Tucson, has poor idle - tdisline_6.jpgthen do not replace the OCV.
Oil Control Valve (OCV) for proper operation.
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC):
P0016 = Crankshaft position-Camshaft position correlation (Bank1 Sensor A)
P0300 = Random / Multiple cylinder misfire detected
INSPECTION FLOW DIAGRAM:
OCV COIL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION:
Delphi 6.7~7.7 Ohms
OCV INSPECTION PROCEDURE:
1. Measure the resistance between the OCV Power and Signal terminals.
1.3. Below specified range or zero: Short circuit - Replace the OCV.

Hello Mark. Since you have no idea how old some of those codes are this is what I want you to do. Write down all of the codes you are getting and then clear all of the codes and drive for a day or so. THEN scan again and see what codes you get.
Generally, with the symptoms you have the fix is to replace the spark plugs. Hyundai's require that you use only Hyundai spark plugs, which are sold separately as explained in this advertisement:
Bosch Premium Class Platinumir Fusion Spark Plug
App: 2006-2009 Hyundai Tucson
Brand: Bosch
Part #: 4501
Notes: BOSCH PREMIUM CLASS PLATINUMIR FUSION SPARK PLUG -- Iridium platinum, 14 mm thread, 19 mm reach, 16 mm hex size, gasket seat, interference suppression resistor, surface air gap plug, 4 ground electrodes, iridium-platinum fused center electrode, heat range 8; Fuses iridium with platinum and combines the superior properties ob both materials into a single fine wire center electrode; Uses surface air gap technology and 4 yttrium enhanced ground electrodes for both performance and extra long life; Reduces the voltage necessary to jump the gap as well as reduces quenching; Provides multiple radial spark paths and surface air gap design that creates optimal exposure of the air/fuel mixture to the enhanced ignition spark; Designed to give exceptional performance, reach self cleaning temperature faster for quicker starts, smoother acceleration and increased fuel efficiency.
Series: Premium Class Platinumir Fusion
Quantitysold: Sold individually

Sorry should have added we did clear the codes and thay are the ones that came back. We did try plugs out of there sister car which is running o.k.
regards
Mark
