How to change a heater core in a 2006 Tucson

Replace? It has to want to change, lol hyundai it is, it leaks coolant or core just water blocked, we blow it out with shop air, if clogged inside or if the blend door is stuck closed you are barking up the wrong tree for SURE. the service manual covers that. or do google videos????????? and is not the same with manual HVAC and climate controls option the latter can be way more complex and big. most cars is dash out, not all just most. modern cars dash is way way way too full of JUNK ! toys, and endless stuff. and air bags. do not work around STS bags until disabled. some videos show hacks, do yah? how many hours labor? really that is it no? my shop manual shows 39 steps. all is drained coolant and R134 so 80 steps out and in. 10hours hard labor and a ton of stuff fails at the end shops charge $1500 to $2000 for this job. steering wheel must be align marked first. or even way more work https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp

Rear windshiled washer fluid doesn't work

It is important to always use washer fluid designed for cold weather. Even if you refill in warm months use the washer fluid with the antifreeze protection since you may not use the rear window cleaner enough to flush out all of the summer washer fluid.

Where are the location of the glow plugs for 2006 HYUNDAI TUCSON

They are usually on the rear of engine, (between the engine and the driver). They will be tucked about half way down near the exhaust manifold. A small nut holds the wire in place. They will probably be a pain in the **** to get to.

mirandamcl,

I just took my 2006 Tucson in to have this fixed. It was simply that that hose from the air filter was not clamped on tight. That was 2 days ago, no more problem.

Why does my 2006 hyundai tucson start acting like its vapor locked when the gas tank hits half and what is the noise im hearing that sounds like it needs a lube job?

When it starts to act up, take off the fuel cap and see what happens. Check the computer to see if there are any codes. Possible weak fuel pump. Check pressure with a gauge. Check fuel filter. Squeak noises are common. Look for the area the noise comes from and isolate the squeak.
