[09-29-10 at: 11:08p.m. I own a 1992 Acura Integra, hatchback 1.8L engine. Ran great, ALWAYS STARTED IMMEDIATELY, until today, when AFTER, I cleaned the corrosion off the POSITIVE battery terminal [cleaned by removing positive batt. terminal "first" was that the problem?] then after I cleaned BOTH terminals by wire brushing with a terminal cleaner, reconnected the terminals, then when I tried to start the car, I got that "CLICKING" sound of a bad battery connection, so I redid the whole process at least 2 more times with the same "CLICKING", so its either the STARTER, SOLENOID, bad terminal connection's or need a new battery or combination of all the above. The car worked great until I cleaned the terminals and reconnected them, could've the STARTER went out in that interval?

There is always the chance that when removing your leads that one or both of them is no longer fitting tightly on the cable.

On the other hand, since your battery is old enough to have had corrosion needing attention with a wire brush then perhaps it is TOO old and needs to be replaced.

Reset oil lamp acura integra 1992 gs

Turn the key to the "on" position, not start, step on the gas pedal 3 times, turn key tp off and then start the car. This works on most cars for the oil change light. If it is the oil pressure light get in for service very soon. Low pressure can kill your engine.

1992 integra under full throttle just shuts off like you turn the ignition off, ease off the the pedal it runs great again.........any suggestions?

Sounds like low fuel pressure. It could be a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

Replaced water pump and timing belt and the car wont start i think the timing is off it did run before the fix

heres a diagram, make sure your timing marks are lined up,but you may have cause engine damage if the belt was installed and the gears not lined up, the pistons may have bent some valves, the only way to know is to check the marks,

Acura 1992 Integra Hatchback wont start. It turns over but wont crank. Thre is no spark from the spark plugs. Replaced the distruibetor and spark plugs, plus wires. Now still wont fire just cranks

Duh, check the coil.

No spark and no fuel 1992 acura integra. jumped fuel pump still no fuel

I don't know what happened but i kept trying it and the car started i guess it's not the fuel pump I'm going to change the fuel filter tomorrow

My Acura RS hatchback, standard has a complete rusted fuel line. Is it worth it to replace it? There are 334000 miles on her and other than the rusted fuel lines, she runs GREAT. Help!

My rule of thumb has always been to consider replacement cost. What could you sell your Integra for plus the cost of repairing the fuel lines. Take that as what can you buy, and chances are what you bough could have a serious problem. Almost always better off with what you know unless the cost of repair is too great.
