2001 Acura Integra Questions & Answers
2001 acura integra won't start
are you certain you got all the timing marks lined up properly?
If not then you've bent the valves again. These things have close tollerances. Get a compression tester and check all cylinders have good compression. If so then line up all your timing marks and check to see if the rotor button is pointing at the right spot to fire cylinder 1. Did you seperate the plug leads from the dizzy? If so check they're in the right order.
Rough idling, vibration and reduced power
sounds like your ignition timing is mal-adjusted. The timing is off. Go buy a Haynes repair manual and look in the section on how to re-time your motor. Has to do with re-adjusting the distributor's position in relation to the camshafts (you have 2). You may also need to change the timing belts.
The vibration is due to the rubber in the motor mounts wearing out. I change mine periodically with Urethane motor mounts.

I need the radio code
RADIO CODE IS DERIVED FROM THE RADIO SERIAL NUMBER, GENERALLY NOT VISIBLE. UNLESS RADIO IS REMOVED ($50 SERVICE CHARGE). THEN WITH PROOF OF OWNERSHIP YOU CAN GET THE CODE FROM ANY ACURA DEALER. CODE IS 5 DIGIT AND COMES WITH THE CAR WHEN NEW. LOOK IN OWNER'S MANUAL, THERE SHOULD BE A CARD WITH THE RADIO NUMBER. IF IT SAYS "ERROR_O3" OR SIMILAR THE PROBLEM IS WITH A STUCK CD OR PROBLEM WITH THE CD CHANGER. CONSIDER NEW RADIO AT THIS POINT.
Radio code for Acura Integra
Well, ive solved my own radio problem LoLz! On my 1996 Acura Integra LS-S the serial number is located on the back of the radio. The dealership told me to bring it in and they will remove my radio for $9O. That's ridiculous. If you can remove it yourself then you save ninety dollars. Or just do what i did...I squeezed my lil a** under the steering wheel and peeked behind the indash thingy where the radio is held and with a flashlight i was just barely able to see the serial number. I dont know if the serial numbers are all the same for all the makes, models and years like mine. But heres what i got. The serial number is: PH22481 the code for the radio is 26162. I called my local Honda dealer and gave the serial number and they gave me the code over the phone. If it doesnt work try disconnecting the battery for about 6O seconds and try again. Good luck and i hope this helps. FOR I FINALLY HAVE MUSIC!!!! YAY!!!
