The motor maybe bad or the relay. the relay is under the right headlight. With the a/c on, see if the motor is getting power. if it is, the motor is bad, if not check the relay.

My 04 jeep grand cherokee is smoking from the radiator. the radiator fan doesn't appear to be running. i've had to put more and more coolant in the resivior because it keeps going right through it...

well, probably needs radiator replaced, burning off fluid smoking problem?if not going out exhaust or in oil, have radiator checked-replaced,if fan not running check relay and fuses, might need fan replaced,if you overheat engine to bad you will blow head gaskets and this is costly.check your oil,see if gray and milky,if so blown head gasket and water-antifreeze in oil,if going out exhaust will be blown head gasket inbetween the cylinders, fix radiator and fan first, but check out to see where all fluid is going.

My engine in my 04 Sebring is running hot, andthe a/c is blowing hot air. Doesn't happen everyday. What's wrong?

Your A/C has it's own little radiator that sits right in front of your engine's water-filled radiator. Heat from your engine radiator is prolly transferring itself into the other smaller radiator and over-whelming it. When any engine is running hot, it usually turns out to be a bad themostat, bad temp-sensors (that run your electric cooling fans on the radiator (or one (or both) radiator fans have died). I would start with the thermostat since it's the cheapest....

I have a 1997 Honda Accord ex that's running hot only when the ac is on. When im parked and have the ac on it doesn't run hot until i start driving for about 20 mins or so. Both fans are coming on...

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. The fans should come on as soon as you turn the a/c on. There shouldn't be any delay. You could have a bad water pump, valve, or impeller. A bad head gasket can cause overheating also, but I would look into the pump first. Do the flush first. It may help. If it doesn't, look at the water pump.

The water tank boils a lot when the car is driven for about 15 to 20 minutes and it begins to spill out. this prevents the cars from running smoothly and easily. what should be done to solve this problem?

First check to make sure you have no oil reidue in your cooling system. What you describe is a common symptom of a blown head gasket or other combustion chamber leak. Also check your oil and make sure it doesn't have a milky appearance. If both of those check out, run the car with the radiator cap off and let it get up to normal operating temperature. You should see the coolant flowing through the radiator. If you don't see the flow at normal operating temperature, suspect the thermostat. When the car reaches normal operating temperature, the fan should also cycle on and off. If it doesn't check your fuses and relays to make sure they're OK. If they're good, try applying a seperate 12V source to the fan. If it powers up then suspect the fan's thermostatic control. Good luck.

if the fan electric fan is not comining on, you need to check the fan motor to see if your motor is bad on the fan. check it by running a hot wire directly from your car battery to the fan elecrtic plug.

Radiator fan doesn' run

If you can apply 12volts directly to the fan connection and it runs, then the fan thermostat is your problem. If a direct connection does not work, then the fan motor has failed and will need to be replaced.

Radiator fans wont turn on to cool radiator for 2001 dodge grand caravan

To check it run wires from the positive and negative battey posts directly to the fan motor connector. If it doesn’t run the fan motor is defective.
