Where is the starter relay located on 96 camero

If you can see wire colors at relays, note the wire color in diagram. I circled the starter relay. good luck

Check the passenger side fender/bulkhead. There should be a relay panel there, look for the inhibit relay. This is your starter relay.

If we're talking about the same thing, starter motor solenoid relay switch, it's under the hood on the fender lining. I looked at info for 2.3L engine.

All starters are located close to the flywheel. This is at the rear of the engine, and the connection of the transmission. Normally it is at the bottom. Look for the big positive wire from the battery to the starter relay and then goes to the starter. (the starter relay is a connection box with a third wire to go to the starter. )

No it will not fit or work properly.

The park/neutral position switch prevents the car from being started when the transmission is in any gear other than Park or Neutral.. When the transmission is in Reverse (with the engine running), the switch completes the back-up light circuit, illuminating the back-up lights.

Are you sure it is the starter? This is a picture of where the starter relay is....may be easier and cleaner to change this first....unless it is your starter...none-the-less....here is the info....and not sure the size of motor so pick accordingly:
