Torque setting for peugeot 206

if its the cylinder head torque it down to about 55 ft pound in two stages

50 foot pounds is plenty. I use locktite on theses bolts. And the torque converter bolts,36 foot pounds. No need for locktite on clutches.

The factory repair manual has all the torque specs for you vehicle .

that is in the FSM, buy the book at Peugeot dealer.

Best get the details from a dealer or reputable mechanic as some engines are set to a torque setting while others are set to a turn angle requiring an angle gauge on the bolts

@Kenneth Ella: In my Peugeot 206 1.4 (TU engine series), tightening the thermostat housing bolts with a torque 20 nm was the breaking of the thread in the engine head. I think, correct torque is about 10 nm (8-12 nm).

Tightening torque for the hub nut is 200Nm and the road wheels are 85Nm

NOTE: The rear wheel bearings are remowned on these cars for sticking to the stub axle quite badly, and often have to be forced off using a slide hammer on the drum, it is quite common to end up damaging the wheel bearing, so be prepared to replace this as well in this event
