Describe your 1983 Phelo i have peugeot 504 model

Hi I know this is years later, but removing the thermostat is not advisable. If the car heats up in the summer have your radiator taken apart and the core cleaned by a professional radiator place. The 504's core tend to get blocked over time. it might also be a good idea to try and get a more heavy duty core or make fit a bigger radiator. Always have coolant in your system other wise the water will eat your cylinder head. It also prevents the radiator from getting clogged up.

I want to add TURBO to my 1996 Golf III Diesel,

well i have never done it myself. but its going to be alot of hassle.
its not the same as sticking a turbo on a petrol

1 you need a manifold which will suit it
2 for best results you need an exhaust to match
3 you will need to replace the fuel pump. to match the size of your engine (preffrably take the turbo and the fuelpump from the turbo version.
4just as well stick a new timing belt on while the fuel pump is off
then you need to tap into the oil as turbos need a constant oil feed. and that might require drilling and tapping into the block.

this is only an educated guess but im sure its pretty standard in fitting a turbo to a non turbo viehical.

1985 mdel diesel lost timing

You might want to check if that engine is an interferance engine first. Most of the car diesels in that era were interferance engine meaning if they jump time or belt breaks, it usually wipes out the valves as they hit the pistons until the crank stops turning.

Alloy has been buckled due to a pot hole) now tire

You need a new wheel. Your continued use of this damaged wheel is not only inconvenient (you must continue to blow up the tire) but also dangerous. Your tire was probably damaged when you hit the pot hole and could suddenly fail at any time. Your wheel is now also out of balance and can cause other mechanical troubles with your 27 year old car.

Stop solenoid

the stop solenoid is located on top of the injection pump ind will either have a single wire going to it or a bunch of wires going to it. if it has a bunch of wires going to it then it is part of the pump (very expensive)
if it is just a single wire they are quite cheep to replace.
if it is a petrol then he is probably refering to the fuel cut off switch located on the right inner wing under the bonnet, this is a black unit with a red cap.

Faulty LCD display

Ok, you can access it but i wouldn`t reccomend it. Pop it out with a screwdriver, there is a bit of clearence at the bottom of the multi function display pop it upwards. Truthfully i would see an auto electrician he or she will prob sort something like this for around £30. My guess is the two the 2 t5w wedge bulbs are loose that light it, or as you say bad wiring, causing it to fail occasionally Good luck.
